COSMIC DATA-BANK PROJECT 7: CANADIAN WRITERS, page 2 1. VENUS IN THE SECTORS The following table shows the 12 sectors with the physical count for Venus for the 1,357 entries in the project.
Sector 2 shows the highest number of counts for Venus and sectors 3 and 12 the fewest. This ranking changes if one looks at the count spread over 36 sectors instead of 12.
With this large database it is possible to use the 36 sub sector system which gives a more defined view of the distribution of the planets than the 12 large sectors used throughout the first 6 projects. 2. MARS IN THE SECTORS The distribution of Mars in the heliograms is shown in the following table.
Mars is found most frequently in sector 6 and least often in sector 12 this does not change when analyzed in a 36 sub sector format. The 2nd and 3rd place rankings do change when the format is changed. The following shows these rankings when 36 sub sectors are searched.
3. SUMMARY The heliograms of 1357 writers who, over the past 400 plus years, have made significant contributions to the literature of Canada* were analyzed for the positions of the Earth, Mercury, Venus and Mars. This is the first project completed at the Cosmic Data-Bank in which the space around the Sun was divided into 36, ten degree sized sub sectors, as well as in the usual 12, thirty degree sized sectors. The use of the sub sectors allowed for a fine tuning of the placement of the planets which was not employed in the other projects due to the smaller size of the databases. It is important to remember that all 1357 entries in the source Encyclopedia have earned a place in the annals of Canadian literature but not many of them have been able to earn a living from their creative output alone and depended upon other sources of income as well. * Many of the women and men found in the Encyclopedia of Canadian Literature have distinguished themselves internationally and I do not wish to imply that they are not known outside of the borders of Canada. 4. COSMIC DETAILS OF SOME CANADIAN WRITERS Listed below are a few Canadian writers with their planetary birth information. I apologize if I have not included a particular favorite of yours. This is a diverse group of writers but the table will give you a picture of the planetary diversity as well as similarity that exists between them. The sectors range from 1 to 12. The information is given as follows:
* Professor New is the editor of The Encyclopedia of Canadian Literature from which all the birth information was gathered for this project. None of the writers in the above table were born with Mercury in the high count sector 3 or in the low count sector 5. This table does not rank the writers for popularity but simply displays their individual cosmic details. The writers are listed in alphabetical order. 5. HELIOGRAM TYPES & PLANETARY PATTERNS There are 8 major heliogram types and they are listed below with the actual count and the percentage of the total group also shown. You may wonder what these heliogram types and planetary patterns look like and so for a complete description of the five planetary patterns follow this link: PATTERNS and for the eight heliogram types follow this link: HELIOGRAM TYPES
The Solo Type heliograms account for 10.5% of the total. The planet which is most often the "solo" in this group is planet Earth followed closely by Mercury and Mars. Both Eric Nicol and Mordecai Richler have solo type heliograms and for both of them the solo planet is Uranus. Margaret Atwood also has a solo type heliogram with the solo planet being Venus. The distribution of the planetary patterns is shown in the following table. The patterns are listed as "only" which indicates that no other planetary patterns are present; it is a solo pattern. The table also shows the patterns "in combination" which indicates that other planetary patterns are also present including the same one. Of the 1,357 participants in this study, 36 (2.7%) displayed none of the five major planetary patterns on their heliograms, although they did have other patterns present.
