HELIOGRAMS OF CANADIANS AS EXAMPLES OF TYPE
1. SOLO TYPE HELIOGRAM
MICHAEL DUNAHEE - The solo planet is Venus. Michael Dunahee went missing from a Victoria, British Columbia kid's playground around 12:30h local time on March 24, 1991. His parents were only a few meters from him when the handsome five year old boy disappeared, likely an abduction. He has never been found. 2. BOWL TYPE HELIOGRAM
SIR JOHN A MACDONALD - He was the first Prime Minister of Canada. More than half the Canadian population have this type of heliogram. On it there is a Stellium pattern composed of Neptune, Mercury, and Uranus, and a T-square composed of the opposition aspect between Pluto and Jupiter, both planets in square aspect to Neptune in the stellium.
3. SPLAY TYPE HELIOGRAM
DIONNE QUINTUPLETS - There is a lot written about these five girls who were intensely followed by the media from the day of their birth. For more on their story explore Wikipedia or Google 'Dionne quintuplets' for a vast list of reading material. The girls, all born within a few minutes of each other, share the same heliogram. On the splay type heliogram are two T-squares; a first one has an opposition aspect between Jupiter and Uranus, both planets in square aspect to Pluto. A second one has an opposition aspect between the Venus/Saturn conjunction in opposition to Mercury, all three planets in square aspect to Mars.
4. HEMISPHERIC TYPE HELIOGRAM
JONI MITCHELL - Artist, song-writer, singer, and musician, Joni Mitchell has a Stellium pattern composed of four planets Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Mars as well as a T-square composed of Earth opposing Mercury, both planets in square aspect to the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction. The hemispheric type heliogram has been counted in 5.5% of 1,200 artists sampled (see the Artist study on this website) and in 8.3% of the general population.
5. BUTTERFLY TYPE HELIOGRAM
LEONARD COHEN - One wing of the heliogram is composed of three planets and the other is composed of six planets. There is a single T-square on his heliogram and it is composed of Jupiter and Uranus in opposition aspect to one another, both planets in square aspect to the Mars + Pluto conjunction. I think this T-square says a lot about his music and the vagaries of his life.
6. TRAIN TYPE HELIOGRAM
Elizabeth May - the leader of the Green Party of Canada was born in Connecticut and moved to Nova Scotia as a child with her parents. She has a Train-type heliogram with one stellium pattern consisting of Neptune, Mercury, and Saturn all within 12 degrees of each other. In the train type heliogram all the planets are in one half of the great circle around the Sun. The planets are in sectors 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
7. THE WASP TYPE HELIOGRAM
CONRAD BLACK - Lord Black was tried in Chicago on various charges including stealing money from his company. He was found guilty on many of the charges and a sentencing date has been set for early 2008. As of March 2008 he has been imprisoned. This has certainly been a steep fall from the echelons of power and prestige that he influenced for so many years.
The BEE and WASP type heliograms look very similar. In both types of heliograms, all the planets are in one hemisphere except for two which are opposite the others. In a WASP type heliogram the distance between the two isolated planets can vary from 13 - 47 degrees. The two planets in a BEE type heliogram can vary from 48 to 72 degrees in separation. In Lord Black's heliogram the two planets in opposition to all the others are Mercury and the Earth which are 34 degrees apart. The planetary patterns on his heliogram include a stellium composed of Neptune, Venus and Mars, a T-square with Jupiter and the Earth in opposition aspect both squaring Uranus, and a Kite formed from linking Uranus, Mercury, and Venus + Neptune. The tail of the kite runs from Mercury to Pluto. This man is driven!
8. THE BEE TYPE HELIOGRAM
STEPHANE DION - Mr. Dion was the leader of the opposition party, the Liberal Party of Canada, in Canada's parliament beginning 2007 until resigning in December 2008. He has extensive parliamentary experience, and was a cabinet minister in the Prime Minister Jean Chretien government.
The two separated planets on his heliogram are Mercury and the Earth which are 50 degrees apart. The only planetary pattern on his heliogram is a T-square composed of Mercury in opposition to Jupiter, both planets in square aspect to Saturn.
