Astrology:  Begun by the Mesopotamians, Babylon abandoned astrology to her Greek conquerors and in turn, the Greeks transmitted their knowledge to their conquerors, the Romans.  The Hellenistic Greeks organized astrology to reflect the philosophy, religion, laws, and science of the time and their astrology is still the predominant form of astrology believed by many today. It is the belief in an unchangeable FATE written in the stars resulting in a predictable everything. There is little evidence to support the beliefs of astrologers however and in the 21st century astrology is regarded as entertainment or religion.

Astrobiology is not a belief system but an examination of and search for life in the universe initiated by the National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA). This quest manifests at the Cosmic Data-Bank as a precise collection of observations and data about the relationship between humans and their solar system. The twenty-two projects completed at the Cosmic Data-Bank have used groups of people with specific interests in common (e.g. NHL hockey players) and explored their cosmic signatures (are their cosmic profiles similar?). In light of the last thirty years of research, evidence has shown that we are linked to our solar system; from the beginning, it has been our greater environment.
