COSMIC DATA-BANK PROJECT 5: NOBEL LAUREATES FOR MEDICINE & PHYSIOLOGY Humankind has traveled a long road since the days when the doctor would drill holes into a sick person's head in order to let out the evil spirits that were believed to be the source of the illness. The women and men that make up the list of 173 distinguished Nobel Laureates in Medicine and Physiology have a birth-date range from August 25, 1841 until January 25, 1949. Alphabetically they extend from Lord Edgar D. Adrian to Rolf M. Zinkernagel. In studying these Laureates I found myself a stranger to many of their names but on reading of their accomplishments and the gifts they gave to humanity it was easy to understand why they were so honored. 1. The Sun The actual count for the Sun in the 12 sectors is shown in the following table followed by a presentation of the data in graphic form showing the sector percentages of the total group.
Sector 3 has a peak at 17% of the total group and the minimum is found in sector 5. Sectors 3, 6, 9 and 12 show the 4 main peaks that range above the average and there are more troughs, aside from the minimum in sector 3, in sectors 2, 4 and 10. More than four times the number of Laureates were born with the Sun in sector 3 than in sector 5. 2. Mercury The placement of heliocentric Mercury in the 12 sectors is shown in the following table and ranked. Mercury orbits in an elliptical pathway around the Sun and that has been factored into the results.
Sector 3 has the highest count/day and sector 6 the lowest. 3. Venus The placement of heliocentric Venus in the 12 sectors is shown in the following table and graph. The table shows the actual count per sector for Venus and the graph illustrates the sectors as percent of total. Venus has an almost perfectly circular orbit around the Sun and spends the same amount of time in each of the sectors.
The locations of Venus in the heliograms of the 173 Laureates show the strongest peak in sectors 1 with 12% of the total and a slightly smaller peak in sector 11. Venus is seen least often in sector 8 with only 5% of the total. 4. Mars The results for the placement of heliocentric Mars in the 12 sectors is shown in the following table.
Sector 6 has 15% of the group total. Only 1% of the Laureates show Mars in sector 12. Sectors 6 and 12 are opposite to each other on the great circle of 12 sectors. 5. Heliogram Types The following table displays the count and percent of the total group for each of the 8 heliogram types.
