PROJECT 1: CONTINUED

ANGULAR SEPARATIONS BETWEEN PLANETS

The combinations of planets that I observed for angular separation are as follows:

  • Earth - Mercury                    Mercury - Venus
  • Earth - Venus                       Mercury - Mars
  • Earth - Mars                        Venus - Mars

I was very curious to know if there were any specific angles between the pairs of planets that were more frequently seen in these 761 professional NHL players. The range of angles was from 0° to 180° inclusive. If complete randomness was in effect one would expect to find about 4 players for each degree (761 players/180 degrees = 4.2 players per degree).

The results of the angular separation study confirmed that randomness was in effect and that for each degree about 4 players were present. There were a few peaks and valleys in all the possible combinations but those could be attributed to player density and birth dates. There were no identifiable trends between pairs of planets in the heliograms of the NHL players for any of the possible combinations in this preliminary study.

HELIOGRAM TYPES & PLANETARY PATTERNS

The individual heliograms of all the NHL players are different. Heliograms between individuals can only be the same if the individuals are born on the same day, month, year, at the same time of day and in the same city or village. The layout of the planets on your heliogram will not repeat for more than 26,000 years after your birth. Everyone is a little different.

The layout of the planets in a heliogram can first be sorted into a "heliogram type" and then any "planetary patterns" within the heliogram type can be identified.

1.  EIGHT HELIOGRAM TYPES

  • Bee - two planets 60° apart are opposite to all the other planets grouped within a 120° arc of the great circle.
  • Bowl - all the planets are distributed around the 360° of the great circle with some empty sectors permitted.
  • Splay - similar to the bowl with the largest empty sector allowed being 78°; for the bowl type it is 168°.
  • Butterfly - 3 or more planets are in opposition to 3 or more planets separated by 90° or more at each wingtip.
  • Hemispheric - all the planets are found within a 180° or smaller arc of the great circle; empty sectors are permitted.
  • Solo - one or two planets ( within 12° of each other ) sit in opposition to all the other planets.
  • Train - similar to the hemispheric pattern except that the string of planets is contiguous with no empty sectors allowed.
  • Wasp - similar to the Bee, but the two planets may be from 13° - 47° apart.

2.   FIVE PLANETARY PATTERNS FOUND WITHIN THE HELIOGRAM TYPES

  • T-square - two or more planets in opposition to each other and all making a square aspect to another planet(s) in a T shape.
  • Cross - 4 or more planets are involved, in opposition and in square aspect forming a large +  formation.
  • Trine - 3 or more planets each at 120° to each other forming an equilateral triangle in space.
  • Kite - a Grand Trine with one or more of the planets in the triangle in opposition to another planet(s) forming a kite shape.
  • Stellium - 3 or more planets within 30° of each other. I have seen as many as 6 planets in a stellium.

Shown below in miniature is the heliogram for Andrew Cassels. It is a "bowl type" heliogram with two t-square patterns which are shown connected with either light pink or light green lines. Click on the image to increase the size.

In reading the heliograms of the 761 NHL players the following observations were made for planetary pattern counts.

  •      T-square or double T-square pattern         400 (53%)  In the general population the frequency is 30%.*
  •      Cross pattern                                           28 (3.7%)
  •      Trine pattern                                           as solo pattern = 0.7%, as part of a complex = 3.9%, total = 4.6%

In reading the heliograms of the 761 NHL players the following observations were made for the heliogram types.

  •      Bowl type        632 (83.0%)
  •      Train type         16
  •      Butterfly type    29
  •      Solo type          34
  •      Others              50

* The incidence of heliogram types and planetary patterns is well defined in the Adams & Eves project. LINK
