PROJECT 5: NOBEL LAUREATES, page 3

THE NOBEL GROUPS

The Nobel Laureates are divided into six disciplines and the number of Laureates in each one is shown in the table below. This data includes all the Laureates up to and including 2008, a total of 790 distinguished men and women.

NOBEL DISCIPLINE COUNT AS OF 2008 COUNT AS PERCENT
Chemistry 153 19.4
Economics 62 7.8
Literature 105 13.3
Medicine & Physiology 192 24.3
Peace 95 12.0
Physics 183 23.2
TOTALS 790 100%

The Nobel Prize is not awarded every year in every category and frequently more than one winner is chosen in a group for any given year.

 THE PLANETS IN THE SECTORS

Only the four planets with the fastest orbital times around the Sun are counted, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Read across the horizontal lines for each discipline to see the sectors with the highest and lowest counts; the numbers are the actual count for the sector. The counts for the empty sectors fall between the highest and lowest counts. If you are hoping to win a Nobel prize in Medicine & Physiology it would be to your advantage to have Mercury in sector 11 on your heliogram; only 8 of the 192 Laureates in Medicine & Physiology had Mercury in sector 2.

1. MERCURY

The table show the high and low counts for Mercury in the sectors for each of the disciplines.  Example:  Chemistry - Only six of the laureates were born with Mercury in sector 2, while 25 of the 153 chemistry laureates were born with Mercury in sector 11.

PEACE: - More Nobel Laureates for Peace have Mercury in sector 8 than in sectors 2, 3, 4, and 12 combined.

2. VENUS

The table show the high and low counts for Venus in the sectors for each of the disciplines.

3. EARTH

The sector position of the Earth is related to the season of the year. When Earth is in sectors 1, 2, or 3 it is Autumn in the northern hemisphere. When Earth is in sectors 4, 5, or 6 it is Winter in the northern hemisphere, etc. The table show the high and low counts for Earth in the sectors for each of the disciplines.

4. MARS

The table show the high and low counts for Mars in the sectors for each of the disciplines.

DISCUSSION: The Economics and Peace groups have less than 100 members each and we will have to wait a few more years to see if these stats hold up as more Laureates are added. The other four groups contain larger populations and in statistical work, the larger the sample, the more reliable the results.

INDIVIDUAL COSMIC PROFILES OF THE LAUREATES

1. A FEW OF THE WOMEN

In the total group of 790 Nobel Laureates there are less than 40 women. Here is a sampling of them.

NAME DISCIPLINE HELIOGRAM TYPE PLANETARY PATTERNS

Pearl Buck literature bowl S, T
Marie Curie (2) chemistry, physics butterfly S
Irene Joliot-Curie chemistry bowl S, T, GT

In the PLANETARY PATTERNS column the letters stand for:  S = stellium,  T = t-square,  K = kite,  GT = grand trine.

THOUGHTS ON THE PROJECT

It is clearly shown by the data that it is possible to become a Nobel Laureate regardless of your Heliogram Type and Planetary Patterns, or lack thereof. This is an outstanding group of individuals chosen to receive this prestigious award; the honored of the best. The results are beginning to show a cosmic profile for each of the disciplines and as new names are added each year the profile will become more detailed. Time will tell! Last Revision - November 6, 2008.

I apologize if I have left out a particular favorite Laureate of yours but if you would like to have the details of their heliogram, e-mail me and I will send them to you.   jef@cd-b.com
