COSMIC DATA-BANK THE ZIDANE MOMENT Every event in one's life has a cosmic signature. Here is one example that made headlines around the world. Zinedine Zidane was born on June 23, 1972 in Marseille, France to parents of Algerian descent. He is one of the greatest and most beloved players of the French soccer world. On July 9, 2006 during the FIFA World Cup final game he had a moment which will be remembered by soccer fans for many years to come. It happened in the huge Berlin stadium where the game was being played. The French team was competing against the Italian team for the coveted trophy, the only symbol of world domination in any sport. The score was 1 - 1 and in the final moments of the game Marco Materazzi, a defender on the Italian team, said something to Zidane who at the time was walking away from him. Zidane wheeled around, walked very determinedly towards Materazzi and gave him a very solid head-butt causing Materazzi to collapse on the field. The referee gave Zidane the "red card" and ordered him off the field and out of the final moments of the game. This was also the final game in Zidane's soccer career as he had previously announced his retirement effective the end of the competition. What the heck happened?
Appearing on French television on July 12, 2006, Zidane spoke about the incident and apologized to his fans and to people around the world for his bad behavior. He said that Materazzi had insulted his sister and mother and he could not ignore it. Only Zidane and Materazzi know exactly what was said but it is a fact that Zidane's mother was seriously ill at the time and so he undoubtedly was very sensitive to any comment involving her. Nevertheless, Zidane is one of the world's best and most experienced soccer players and he must have received numerous challenges and insults from opposing players throughout his career. What the heck happened? The Cosmic Data-Bank seriously explores the concept that every single human is uniquely connected to the solar system in which we all live. The solar system is our greater environment and the planetary arrangement at the time of one's birth will describe much about one's internal dialogue throughout life. The planets are always in motion around the sun and the positions they are in at any particular moment are called the "transit positions" when compared to the positions they held at the time of one's birth, the birth positions. There is a "quality of time" associated with the transiting planets when they aspect the birth planets and in the following double heliogram you can explore the qualities of the moment that Zidane experienced.
If you look closely at the above diagram you will see that it is composed of the red Sun in the center, an inner circle showing the placement of the planets when Zidane was born. He has a "bowl type" heliogram with two stellium patterns on it. There is also an outer circle showing the placement of the planets at the time of the head-butt incident. Four of the aspects by transits are particularly revealing about the quality of the moment. 1. The solid dark blue lines connect transiting Uranus in exact opposition to transiting Mars, both planets in almost perfect square to the birth position of Zidane's Saturn. This T-square pattern by transit indicates the strong possibility of a sudden and forceful change in temperament. This transit would have been in effect for a few days at most. Transiting Uranus makes this square aspect to Zidane's natal position of Saturn only once every 84 years and this was that rare moment. Transiting Mars opposes transiting Uranus every 2.5 years and again this was one of those moments. Wait, it gets even better. 2.The solid red lines connect the very close conjunction of the transiting planets Mercury and Pluto in exact square to the natal conjunction both planets held when Zidane was born. The planet Pluto is associated with "transformation" and the planet Mercury is associated with "communication". The square is exact and would have been in effect for only a few hours; it will never occur again in Zidane's lifetime. Whatever Materazzi was saying came to a very sudden ending when he was transformed by the head butt. Wait, there is more! 3. The solid light blue lines connect the exact square aspect between transiting Earth and the position of Uranus when Zidane was born. Earth on a heliogram represents the "here and now" while Uranus is associated with "sudden changes". This transit was in effect for only the day of the game and will not occur again for another 365+ days. Is your mouth hanging open? There is one more to tell you. 4. The short solid silver line connects transiting Saturn in exact conjunction with the position of Mars on Zidane's heliogram. This conjunction occurs every 30 years approximately and lasts for a few days. It is associated with "determined and focused release of energy". A similar transit was also seen during the Athens Olympics in 2004 when swimmer Michael Phelps amazed the crowds by winning 5 gold and 2 bronze medals. Transiting Saturn was in conjunction with his natal Mars during that competition. There are even more transits in effect but these are the most important ones and they will help you to understand why he was triggered by whatever insult was hurled at him. Zidane was totally in the moment; a walking explosion waiting for the ignition and Materazzi provided it. Personally, I do not believe Zidane could have acted any other way. The quality of the moment was highly unstable and he put his signature to it in a most unforgettable way. In August 2007, the French media revealed that Materazzi had indeed made dishonorable comments about Zidane's sister which were so despicable Zidane did not ignore them. Given the nature of his planetary transits at the time his response was very understandable even if it was not professionally acceptable. Understanding your transit cycles will definitely help you understand a great deal more about why you do the things you do. There is a constant connection between your subconscious and the solar system we know so little about.
